Groww (India desk)

Nifty 50 / Bank Nifty. Prefer ApiKey + ApiSecret (auto-refresh after ~06:00 IST). AccessToken alone expires daily. Credentials are never committed — paste here or set Vercel env. Quotes use Groww CASH + NSE_NIFTY / NSE_BANKNIFTY (official index path).

Live Nifty/BankNifty quotes require a paid Groww Trade API plan (~₹499/mo). Free Trial authenticates but returns 403 Access forbidden on /v1/live-data — that is not a symbol bug.

  1. Choose Monthly or Yearly (not Free Trial) — includes Full Live Data API (LTP, Quote, OHLC).
  2. Groww Cloud → API keys → approve/activate today’s key (required daily for ApiKey flow).
  3. Refresh India desk — do not re-Save ApiKey unless you rotated keys.

If India shows 429 rate limit: in Groww Trade API UI generate a fresh AccessToken, paste it here alone (leave ApiKey/Secret blank), Save, then open India. Do not re-save ApiKey (burns quota).
